Double-hand Poker is a current game with old ancestry. Built on the old Chinese tile game and the current American version of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the far east with the western in a fantastic game for starting gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the gambler versus the house, unlike almost all other poker games that gamblers compete against other players. By gambling against the dealer, new players don't need to be concerned about other, more experienced individuals winning their money.

Another Pai Gow benefit is the fairly slow game play, rookies are able to take their time and strategize while not having to make quick selections.

It is also simpler to gamble on for an extended time with just a small amount of cash since, to lose, both of your hands must be lower than both of the houses hands.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the customary 52-card standard deck and one joker. The player is given 7 cards faces showing and the croupier receives 7 cards faces hidden.

A five card hand and one two card hand need to be made from the 7 cards, the 5 card hand must be stronger than the 2 card hand. To win, a player needs both of his hand totals to be higher than the casino's.
