Double-hand Poker is a current game with ancient origins. Built on the ancient Chinese tile game and the current American version of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the eastern with the wild west in a fantastic game for starting gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the player versus the croupier, unlike the majority of other poker games that players compete against other gamblers. By gambling against the dealer, starting players don't have to be concerned about any other, more knowledgeable people winning their mulla.

Another Pai Gow benefit is the generally slow game pace, newcomers are able to take their time and strategize without having to make quick selections.

It's also easier to play for a long time with only a little bit of money since, to not win, both of your hands has to be under each of the dealer's hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the familiar 52-card standard deck and a single joker. The player is dealt 7 cards face up and the casino is dealt 7 cards faces hidden.

One five card hand and a two card hand must be made from the seven cards, the 5 card hand must be stronger than the two card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand values to be larger than the casino's.
