Online poker has become world acclaimed lately, with televised events and celebrity poker game shows. The games universal appeal, though, stretches back in reality a bit farther than its television ratings. Over the years numerous variations on the original poker game have been created, including some games that are not in fact poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of the above-mentioned games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely related to 21 than old guard poker, in that the players bet against the house instead of each other. The winning hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is little bluffing or other types of deception. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to ante up prior to the dealer declares "No further bets." At that point, both you and the bank and of course all of the other players attain five cards each. Once you have looked at your hand and the dealer's initial card, you have to in turn make a call bet or accede. The call wager's value is on same level to your beginning bet, meaning that the stakes will have increased two fold. Giving Up means that your wager goes directly to the house. After the wager is the conclusion. If the bank does not have ace/king or greater, your wager is given back, plus an amount in accordance with the initial bet. If the bank has a hand with ace/king or better, you succeed if your hand is greater than the dealer's hand. The house pays out money equal to your bet and controlled expectations on your call bet. These odds are:

  • Equal for a pair or high card
  • 2-1 for two pairs
  • three to one for 3 of a kind
  • 4-1 for a straight
  • 5-1 for a flush
  • seven to one for a full house
  • 20-1 for a four of a kind
  • fifty to one for a straight flush
  • 100-1 for a royal flush
