Web poker has become world famous recently, with televised championships and celebrity poker game events. Its popularity, though, arcs back quite a bit farther than its TV scores. Over the years numerous variants on the first poker game have been created, including some games that are not really poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of these games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely resembling vingt-et-un than long-standing poker, in that the players bet against the bank instead of the other players. The winning hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is no conniving or other kinds of boondoggle. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to pay up before the dealer broadcasting "No more wagers." At that instance, both you and the house and of course every one of the other players attain 5 cards. After you have looked at your hand and the casino's 1st card, you must either make a call wager or surrender. The call wager's value is equal to your beginning wager, which means that the stakes will have increased two fold. Surrendering means that your ante goes immediately to the bank. After the bet is the showdown. If the bank does not have ace/king or better, your bet is returned, including a figure on par with the initial wager. If the bank has a hand with ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand beats the casino's hand. The dealer pays out chips equal to your wager and fixed expectations on your call wager. These odds are:

  • Equal for a pair or high card
  • two to one for two pairs
  • 3-1 for 3 of a kind
  • four to one for a straight
  • five to one for a flush
  • 7-1 for a full house
  • 20-1 for a 4 of a kind
  • 50-1 for a straight flush
  • one hundred to one for a royal flush
