Without knowing the exact facts, it is easy to categorize gamblers into three categories:

  • Big Winner
  • Small Loser/Winner
  • Big Loser

The massive mass of the gamblers is, of course, in the last class, "Big Loser". I would say that about ninety to ninety-five per cent of the gamblers fits into this category. When reading "Big" you need to read it as percent of the money won or lost. Even if someone just plays for 10 dollars for his or hers entire life, wins and doubles it, is a "Big Winner". You see, the person wagers 10 dollars and comes out with twenty dollars, so his or hers internet earnings is one hundred per cent. That being said, the difference involving a "Big Winner" plus a "Big Loser" can be very small.

Let's say you're a tiny stake Hold'em gambler, your internet revenue per thirty days is about five per-cent of your bankroll. So should you started out with a deposit of one hundred dollars, initial calendar month you would go five dollars which would rise your bankroll to $105, next month 110 dollars.5 and so on. To go from 100 dollars to two hundred dollars takes between 13 - 14 months if your net profit is five % every month. What about if you started out with 200 dollars? In 13 - 14 months, starting with two hundred dollars as well as a net earnings of 5 percent monthly, you'd have between 380 dollars - 400 dollars in bank roll.

This is another example, except here your internet profit is -5 percent per month and your deposit was one hundred dollars. Following a year, your bankroll would have gone down to fifty to fifty-five, which is nearly 50 per cent of one's starting bankroll. Lets now say that you got a bonus of 100 dollars, so your beginning bank roll would be $200 with the exact same net earnings per month. Soon after a year now, you'd still have 108 dollars.

This is why bonuses are so important when you start building your bankroll. Bonuses can turn a "Big Loser" into a "Small Winner", or a "Small Loser" into a "Big Winner".
