Poker Calculator Announcement: Hold em Pirate … Holdem Hawk Prohibited by Poker Stars
Since the Party Poker fall a few years ago, Poker Stars has surfaced as the undeniable leader in pure quantities of web based poker players. They have the biggest tournaments, the most active tables, the largest money games, along with the quickest filling sit and go tournaments on the internet. With that comes strength - the power to choose your associates, web marketers, and closer to our point; appropriate software.
Long have I been suggesting Hold em Hawk and Hold em Pirate (they're in fact the exact same) poker calculators as easy to use and visibly desirable poker calculators. Lately though, these products have pressed the boundaries of acceptable use, at least in the view of Poker Stars, and consequently have been forbidden from use on that website. This is depressing news, as a decent product, not unlike some of the appropriate computer software permitted by Stars, is now essentially grounded because the biggest poker internet site on the planet thinks it is too closely related to an Operative Poker Calculator.
An Operative Poker Calculator is like a secret adviser working for you, amassing and digging through player info that you may use against them at a later time. The thing is, you don't need to be at the table for this to occur. The software program (database) is working all of the time for you. For most poker internet sites, that's over the line of fairness, just as in actual life also.
But Holdem Pirate and Hold em Hawk are actually Empirical Poker Calculators, just the same as Hold em Indicator is. These kinds of poker calculators only accumulate info on your competitors when you are at the table, just like you had been wagering in a live situation.
So why the Poker Stars Smack? Here is a real warning I was sent from Poker Stars although running Hold em Pirate:
Following an evaluation of your account, we discover that you're using an external program knownas Poker Sherlock, or its associated applications, Poker Edge, PokerBotPro, Holdem Hawk and Holdem Pirate......PokerStars shall be permitted to take such action as it sees fit, such as instantly preventing entry to the Games to such User, terminating such User's account with PokerStars and appropriating all funds held within the relevant Poker Stars "actual cash account".
Hey, did you observe the "confiscating all monies" line? That's what you can do whenever you are this large!
The "related applications" is the origin of the difficulty. The firm that designed Hawk and Pirate also generate Poker Edge and PokerBotPro, which are data miners. In fact, I believe that Stars suspects Hawk and Pirate really gather data for these related products, while appearing like an Empirical Poker Calculator on the surface.
So therein lays the heart of the difficulty. When you take place to wager on on Stars and have Hawk or Pirate, you are out of luck, as I have attempted to reverse this judgment. I received a considerate response from the employees at Poker Stars, but definitely, it's not likely to alter. The good news though is that Holdem Indicator has been added to Poker Stars suitable software program checklist, and it is the only empirical calculator to be accepted by them.
